Chang Oh Turkmani (오창순)

Ms. Chang Oh Turkmani, Esq., is a lawyer with a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She teaches law at Georgetown University as an adjunct professor. However, she is a multinational business person and the Managing Director at the Mega Company. In this capacity, she serves as a financial debt negotiator to a number of East European governments. As managing director, she also oversees all commercial and financial transactions concerning investment and countertrade and she negotiates and implements export contracts of raw materials. She is also the principal or managing director of several companies in Romania, including American Construction Technologies, CDM Global, and Crest Energy. She is also the principal and president of Blackwater Power Co., which works with Sargent & Lundy, the oldest U.S. engineering firm based in Chicago, and Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. on the refurbishment and restart of CANDU nuclear power plants in Eastern Europe. She attributes her success to her education, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her knowledge of seven languages–English, Korean, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese, French, and Arabic, which has given her the awareness and understanding of different cultures. Chang and her family are philanthropists promoting education and they have established many endowments in different institutions of higher learning. She was the Alumna of the Year in 2016 at Georgetown University and received the Bridgebuilder Award from the University of Houston in 2014.
