History

The Korea-US Washington Forum (KUWF or the Forum), formerly known as WKAF (Washington Korean-American Forum), was established in 2007 by prominent Korean Americans active in business, academic, politics, and research fields in the Greater Metropolitan Washington area. We have widened our initial focus on economy and politics to encompass areas of common interest between the Republic of Korea and the United States. Our members consist of people and institutions, regardless of their expertise and background, who have operated in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, have a deep interest in Korean-American affairs, and share the goal of promoting good relations between the two countries. KUWF is a US Federal income-tax exempt non-profit incorporation under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
