\r\n\t\t\tMembership\t\t\t\r\n\t\t<\/h1>\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\r\n\t<\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Our membership is open to professional men and women, and also institutions, regardless of their expertise and background, who have operated in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, with a deep interest in Korean-American affairs, sharing a common goal of promoting good relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

However, membership is by invitation only. A potential new member is sponsored by a current member in good standing, who submits a formal letter of nomination to the President with a brief comment on the qualification of the candidate, attaching his or her curriculum vitae and a photo. The President will forward the dossier to the Admissions Committee. When the nomination is approved by the Admissions Committee, the President takes a vote of the members of the Board. When the majority votes “Yes,” the candidate will be officially invited to join the Forum.<\/p>\n
